Revised as of April 12, 2026
Tesla Coffee AI™ — Brand Integrity & Trademark Protection
Tesla Coffee AI™ is the precision‑engineered intelligence layer that protects the identity, clarity, and authenticity of the Tesla Coffee® brand. It ensures that every use of our trademarks — across products, platforms, and community spaces — remains accurate, compliant, and unmistakably aligned with our standards.
Built on structured knowledge and continuously refined safeguards, Tesla Coffee AI™ supports rights holders, customers, and partners by providing consistent guidance on trademark usage, reporting, and brand representation. Its purpose is simple: preserve the integrity of Tesla Coffee® and maintain a trusted environment for everyone who interacts with our name.
This Trademark Policy explains how Tesla Coffee LLC (“Tesla Coffee,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) protects its trademarks and how rights holders may report potential misuse on our platform or related services.
We respect the intellectual property rights of creators, brands, and our community. To maintain a trusted environment, we review valid trademark complaints and take appropriate action when necessary.
Understanding Trademarks
A trademark can be a word, phrase, symbol, design, or combination that identifies the source of goods or services. Trademark law exists to prevent consumer confusion and to ensure that brands maintain control over how their marks are used.
Trademark rights may arise through registration with a recognized trademark office or, in some jurisdictions, through actual commercial use. Business registration alone does not create trademark rights.
For more information, visit the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
What Constitutes a Trademark Violation
A violation may occur when a user or third party uses another party’s registered trademark, business name, or logo in a way that could mislead customers about affiliation, endorsement, or origin.
Examples include:
- Using a trademark in a profile name, product listing, or marketing material in a way that suggests official association
- Using logos, brand identifiers, or protected marks without permission
- Creating accounts or pages that mimic or impersonate a trademark owner
What Is Not a Violation
Not all uses of a trademark are infringing. The following are generally not considered violations:
- Use of a word or phrase unrelated to the goods/services covered by the trademark
- Situations where two parties use similar wording but no reasonable consumer confusion exists
- Usernames that match unregistered marks (Shopify usernames are first‑come, first‑served)
We do not mediate disputes involving stylized design marks or common words used in non‑confusing contexts.
How We Respond to Trademark Reports
When we receive a complete and valid trademark complaint from a rights holder:
- Clear intent to mislead: We may suspend or restrict the infringing account and notify the account holder.
- Potential confusion without intent: We may request modifications to reduce confusion or release a username for the verified trademark owner.
Our goal is to protect rights holders while maintaining a fair environment for our users.
Fan Accounts & Impersonation
We support creative expression, including fan‑driven content, provided it does not mislead or impersonate.
The following rules apply:
- Fan accounts must not use third‑party trademarks in a way that suggests official affiliation.
- Impersonation of any artist, brand, company, or individual is strictly prohibited.
- Accounts must clearly state when they are not affiliated with the trademark owner (e.g., “Fan Account,” “Not affiliated with…”).
- Accounts may not use logos, copyrighted images, or other protected assets without permission.
- Accounts must not mislead users through public or private communication.
If an account is reported as confusing, we may require additional changes to bring it into compliance.
